The (R)evolution of Indigenous Food Systems of North America​ with Chef Sean Sherman

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, in partnership with the August Wilson​ Cultural Center, presents a talk by Sherman, Oglala Lakota​ from the Pine Ridge reservation and the founder of​ The Sioux Chef. Chef Sean is committed to revitalizing​ Native American cuisine. He is renowned nationally and​ internationally as a leader of a movement to completely​ redefine North American cuisine through the understanding​ and utilization of indigenous food knowledge.​
